Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris II Ref. E 870 from 1970

Very early European market production Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris II ref. E 870 in very good and completely untouched condition from 1970. The case is showing only minor signs of wear. On the very nice and colourful bezel there is a dent between the 42 and 46 marker and the mineral crystal has some light scratches in the middle section. The wonderful patinated dial is overall in very good condition too with some light scratches on the alarm wheel and a touched-up scratch next to the 6 o´clock marker. Attached is the original tropical strap which has hardened with time. The service history is unknown, but my watchmaker has just checked the movement (cal. 916) and it is working perfectly well in all functions with an amplitude of over 300.
